commands – timezone overview

In order to ensure that dates/times are displayed consistently, even when jobs have varying timezones, BeyondCron allows the timezone of the console and bc-web to be set/changed.

Default timezone

The default timezone is determined as follows, in order or priority:

1 bc-timezone-username browser cookie. This cookie is set whenever timezone set executed – bc-web only;
2 BEYONDCRON_TIME_ZONE environment variable;
3 operating system/shell timezone.
